About Me

🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳 WELCOME! 🌳🌳🏠🌳🌳

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE PROFILE BEFORE MESSAGING ME. A LOT OF QUESTIONS ARE ANSWERED IN MY TEXT 😊

Would you like to experience Scottish village life for one or two nights?

My home is a place where people can come to relax, slow down, and enjoy the view :)

I would enjoy spending some time with you (eg chatting and cooking in the evening), and you are welcome to explore the area in your own as well.

ABOUT ME:

I'm a friendly outdoorsy guy. I try to do my little bit to make the world a friendly and compassionate place.

I prefer to host people who are mindful of their carbon footprint, so please don't fly here for a 2-day break 😝

Working outdoors as a gardener makes me happy. I'm learning to grow my own vegetables, and love sharing home-grown food.

I'm very involved in village life - acting in the village play, volunteering with a community woodland project, and making lots of apple juice from local apples.

If you request to stay here, please let me know if you would like to spend some time together, or you just want to do things on your own. (I understand that when you travel you sometimes just need quiet time to yourself.)

If I have time, some things we could do together are: going for a walk, swimming in the loch nearby (June-September), yoga, or just chatting with a cup of tea or a beer.

I sometimes enjoy naturism / nudism, eg going to naturist / nudist beaches in the summer. If you are interested in this, just ask.

I play the flute in the pub most Tuesday evenings with other musicians, so please come along and join in the singing.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION?:

If you could teach me how to cook a meal from your country, that would be great. (Please bring some ingredients, or let me know what to buy.) I will also ask you to do a small household job, eg cleaning the bath or hoovering the floor.

I only drink a little alcohol, and I mostly don't eat meat. So if you'd like to drink alcohol or eat meat please bring some.

HOW TO FIND MY VILLAGE:

I live in a small village (Newburgh). You can find buses on Googlemaps. Last-minute requests are fine.

From Perth: 20 mins drive east (35 mins by bus)

From Dundee: 35 mins drive south-west (1h15 by bus)

From Edinburgh: 1h10 min drive (1h45 by bus, changing at Bridge of Earn).
