Über mich
CURRENT MISSION
Wildchild: pursuing many random and crazy adventures.
ABOUT ME
Dance Student: blues, lindy, choreography, modern and ballet. Wilderness Bug: rock climbing, backpacking, whitewater rafting... if it is outside, count me in. Those are my two main pursuits right now. I come from a small sheep farm, I currently live in Seattle while I go to college.
I spent three months in 2010 backpacking, canoeing, and sea kayaking in New Zealand with the National Outdoor Leadership School. I love roadtrips and random adventures. Some of my activities include: baking desserts, playing outside, reading (I do love books), dancing all the time, climbing on rooftops.
I am adventurous, free spirited, very laid back and easy going.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is good.
We are meant to be happy. We are meant to live in joy.
I believe in doing what inspires you, going for it because you can.
Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I enjoy meeting new people and sharing adventure stories. Cooking a meal with someone new.
I am in Seattle and available to go out for coffee or a drink and show you around a bit. (I do have a couch, but it is not the most comfortable, it tends to slide apart).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've met some great folks couchsurfing in New Zealand!

Musik, Filme und Bücher
I love books. Haven't had a chance to read much lately, but I love em. Some that come to mind. Abbey- The Monkey Wrench Gang. Neil Gaiman. Catch 22.
I also enjoy a good movie. Classic favorite would be The Princess Bride. I also enjoy musicals (phantom of the opera), drama, comedy!, I enjoy most movies.
Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
Working on a trail crew in the Glacier Peak Wilderness in Washington summer 09 I had many adventures. One amazing thing we did once was to hike up a slope in search of some lakes we saw on the map. Our crew called it a family fishing trip. We scrambled and crawled up the side of this hill/mountainslope for about a mile. Slipping and sliding and leaping the whole way. Half giving up twice, we finally made it to the top of the world. It really felt like you were on the edge. We were at the peak of this ridge, it dropped off on all sides and across the valley, you were level with all the other peaks of the mountains. We saw our lakes, but couldn't find a way down to them without a rope. The most amazing part were the clouds. They were dripping over the lips of the peaks into the basin. It felt like a dream being on top of the world. We sat back in the heather and took in the amazing sight (while dreading the fact that we would soon have to slide back down the mountainslope to our campsite). Eventually we left our spot of heaven, and miraculously slid right back into our tents.
