Music, Movies, and Books
Music is my passion. I like just about everything except pop. Rock, World, Classical, Folk, Bluegrass. Here’s a sampling of artists: Allman Brothers, Govt. Mule, Krishna Das, Grateful Dead, Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, James Taylor, Derek Trucks, Eric Clapton, Mana, Allison Kraus, Michelle Shocked, Lucinda Williams, John Mayer, Buckwheat Zydeco, La Ley, Kumbia Kings…..too many to list.
Reading is another passion. I don’t have tv. I read a lot and also listen to audio books. I tend to enjoy fiction where I’m also learning something. I just finished “The Power of One”, which was heavily influenced by boxing! I knew nothing about, nor did I have any interest in boxing before the book, now I have a much better appreciation for it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing that I have ever done, was running my first 50 mile race with my two best friends. The most amazing thing that I have ever seen was Stonehenge in the early morning mist.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to get in shape and run 1 mile or 26! I can teach you several different types of percussive and world dance. I’m a great cook and teach you a variety of dishes. If I’m visiting you, I’d love to prepare a meal with you or have you teach me regional dishes. I’m also very interested in international textiles. And would love to learn more techniques.
