ABOUT ME

I'm an American with Peruvian parents. Personality is a mixture of both cultures. Learned to play the guitar from fellow backpackers while traveling. Traveled a bunch throughout South America, SE Asia, Western Europe .. also visited Ethiopia and India. It's tough to write "about you" but it's easy meeting people and sharing experiences, interests, politics, blah blah blah.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Never couch surfed, but can sleep on cold concrete if necessary (damn Italy).

Interests

Dancing, traveling, learning foreign languages, making people laugh, surfing, futbol, eating Peruvian food.

Music, Movies, and Books

Currently reading Godel, Escher, Bach. Recommend Amazing Adventures of Cavalier and Clay by Michael Chabon, Bombadiers by Po Brosnan, anything by Gregory McDonald, Liebling's The Sweet Science, The Rise and Fall of the Great Powers by Kennedy to name a few.

Enjoy roq en español. Best show I ever saw was Bad Brains. Saw KISS in concert when I was 5. Dig old school hip hop, salsa, brasilian jazz.

Funniest movie I've ever seen is the French flik "Le Diner de Con." Cinema Paradiso, Old Boy come to mind, but really I'll see anything for "that one line."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Had drinks at a bar up in a tree (Indonesia). Last day of Inca Trail went off the main path through a farmers land (2nd cousin is a guide in Cuzco, Peru).
