Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've mostly been a surfer rather than a host, but I'd definitely like to host when I have a permanent home one day!

I've met some amazing people and made some great friends from CS - I am so glad to be part of this community!

Music, art and performance, travel, new experiences, Christmas tree decorations, tea and coffee, ancient gadgets, other dimensions, spiritual realms, the many flavors of sea salts, things entombed in the sea, tinctures, and travel Yahztzee.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Old-time Hollywood classics. Christmas movies (gets you in the spirit!). Documentaries about travel, nature, and conspiracy theories.
Music: Favorites will always be the Beatles, Paul Simon, Bob Dylan. Lately I really like Josh Ritter and Andrew Bird. Mostly folksy.
Books: I tend to prefer short fiction or poetry. Favorites are Rumi, Robert Frost, Edgar Allen Poe. I'm currently reading Nine Lives by William Dalrymple.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've spent five years playing music and traveling the country. I have met all sorts of amazing people and had incredible experiences, and am psyched to start surfing abroad!
