Hi!!

My name is Ali Lila! I am writing a quick, updated profile as it's been a few years that I have been couchsurfing or welcoming guests! I live in Montreal, Quebec, but I am currently in France for a few months living with my best friends in the region of Ardeche. I'm talking a few trips here and there and would love to connect with people of all kinds in various cities (so far Germany, Estonia, and possibly Sweden and Norway).

I am a graphic designer who is currently re-structuring my business to be fully freelance. I am deeply inspired by visual communication, video art, photography, painting, illustration, interior and furniture design, and always curious to have discussions with creative and passionate people. I'm a people-lover in general, so it's equally as rich to spend time with those who have completely different interests than me! I love learning new perspectives! I'm a writer at heart!

My first couch surfing experience was when I moved to Montreal in mid-winter. I showed up with a backpack in a city I knew nothing about. Nine years later, I still live there, and I am still great friends with my first host.

I'm eventually going back to Canada and my dream is to create some beautiful tiny houses on a magical piece of land. I will hope to eventually welcome you all there one day :)
