ABOUT ME
Risk taker willing to roam the world solo.
I laugh a lot and sometimes I smile without a reason. Maybe to hide my nervousness, maybe because I can´t believe what crazy thing I am about to do again or maybe just because I am remembering my greatest adventure in Antarctica.
German who has lived, studied and worked in different countries. Sometimes people say I am not really German unless it is about drinking, then I am drinking you under the table ;-)

NEXT ADVENTURE
Hoping to be able to visit my friends in Mexico, that I met in Ireland 2 years ago. Planning a trip end of the year and also going to Cuba after. Nothing booked yet though

PHILOSOPHY
Define yourself while you're young. Make friends from different cultures in different countries. Don't wait until retirement to explore the globe - Ama la vida

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

We probably all have some things in common:
love travelling and getting to know new people and cultures.

And apart from the obvious reason of needing somewhere to stay, Couchsurfing seems great to bting people all over the world together in a compassionate, friendly way.

I think it's a great way to meet people who live in the city and truly understand the culture.

I've never couchsurfed, but I will really wanna give it a try next time I'm traveling.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I kayaked in Antarctica and had a New Year´s eve polar plunge in the Antarctic water

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes

great stories of my adventure in South America and that I suddenly ended up taking a ship to Antarctica and came back with an empty bank account :)
Also I made a Colombian hostel cheering me on - which made me even well known the day after among the people that were trying to sleep but couldn´t as they heard the hostel bar screaming "LAURA - LAURA - LAURA " ;)
