Overview
About Me
I’m like a much better last minute host currently but a few days or more out may be okay now too.
For perspective surfers, there is an expectation that transphobia is a disqualifier for surfing with me. Thanks for your understanding.
CURRENT MISSION: Enjoy Life
Couchsurfing Safety: I am committed to the safety and welfare of all of my invited guests. I am practically concerned regarding the proper behavior towards single female surfers. I consider my home a safe place for all individuals who travel alone. This commitment is based upon my integrity, honesty and responsibility as a person. I do not see couchsurfing as a dating website in any way and am committed to the safety, privacy and boundaries of all that decide to surf with me or those that host me.
I like to work on initiatives that support sustainability. I like hiking and checking out places that I've been around and also new places as well and meeting good friends and new people. I try to be a non-consumer and always finding cool stuff to do on the cheap and sharing that with others. I do favor alternative activities more like dumpster diving, urban and gorilla gardening, etc, but I am almost always up to try new things as well to experience what the world has to offer.
I support a small endeavor in the woods of Maryland called Earth Care. It’s mostly supposed to be a biking and sustainable community that is looking to create safe havens like itself eventually worldwide. I hope to eventually find a better way of life someday myself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love to help others and volunteer and have become a big believer in the pay it forward system since joining couch surfing. I love meeting new people and showing them around my life and learning about theirs.

Interests
I'm into trying to live below my means and trying to find ways to live a little more sustainable. That's why I'm interested in collectives and intentional communities, because they live for much less then the common person and have a better life quality.
Biking, hiking, volleyball, most any kind of sport. Tai Chi, Yoga, Meditation and like to see or participate in forms of dance.

Music, Movies, and Books
Dance Music and also love 60s, 70s and 80s.
Movies, I just saw "Taking Woodstock" and that's gotta rank in the high end for me as just being a good movie that really helped me change my perspective quite a bit. Of course I love watching the classics endlessly: Monty Ptyhon and the Search for the Holy Grail & the Big Lebowski.
Books: Walden is the best one so far!!!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Participating in the rainbow gathering where thousands of people formed an intentional community for a brief week, but what a week! Words can't explain how amazing this was.
Visiting family in Hawaii was another amazing thing for me not because of the location, but the reconnection with my loved ones was great and I'm glad that I've done this and am happy to know I have this part of my family out there that really loves me and accepts me no matter what.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to bring people together and I also like to organize. I also can tutor in math pretty good. I'm an extra pair of hands and like to cook and help with cleanup.
