Hi! My name is Dane I'm a university student in Ohio, United States of America. I'm studying chemical engineering and have a huge interest in energy/power and sustainability. I also love to travel, scuba dive/swim, ride horses, take care of animals, do yoga, and do artwork (mainly pottery!). I've owned and ridden horses for the last 15 years of my life, during which I've ridden dressage, hunter/jumper, and I trained my last horse with natural horsemanship.

I took about 7 years of French classes in school and I really want to finally apply it and become "conversational". If you have any questions about me, feel free to ask!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My favorite thing about traveling is meeting incredible people! I want to couch surf so that I can meet people and learn about their language and culture. This will be my first time couch surfing so I'm excited to give it a try!

I just spent two months in Tenerife, but now I'm headed to Spain and Portugal for a few weeks! Here and there I would like to couch surf to meet people and learn about that area. I would love to learn some Portuguese and practice my Spanish if possible, too!
