I was a member of a similar group in the US many years ago and a similar networking group in Europe during the 1970s, (FKK member). You will find my home to be clean, quiet and comfortable. A current member of AANR. Situated in a residential suburb located in the far western edge of the valley, 20 miles away from downtown Phoenix.
I am a retired, partially disabled veteran. Own my 3-bedroom 2 bath home that is a 45 min drive to airport. I no longer drive and don't have a vehicle--Best way to get here is via Blue Airport Shuttle Bus or taxi if you don't have a car. Via Interstate-10, I am 1 mile south of the freeway just off 163rd Avenue. If I have a friend available (when he is not working), we can pick you up at the airport. Several fast-food places are within 1 mile, chain restaurants that will deliver, and three grocery stores. I usually cook dinner but just in case--You may need to manage your own meals; evening meals are sometimes prepared mid-afternoon. though I usually invite you to share. I do have extra refrigerator space. Some of the stores include Super Walmart, Super Kroger/Fry and Super Target. The closest City bus stop w/limited service is 2 miles away.
I am a very open-minded, low-key person. Trying to live a stress-free relaxed lifestyle with an easy-going personality. I am a home naturist and also enjoy nude camping and travel and my home is nudist comfortable. Please understand, I may be gay and a nudist, but I am not looking for sex, I am totally comfortable hosting clothed or as a social nudist. So if you are not gay or a nudist, please don't worry, we will adjust and accommodate you, staying clothed, without problem. I believe in no pressures, no demands and no hidden agendas.
I do enjoy good conversation. I am well educated and well-traveled. Please, no smokers, no drug users, no traveling pets as I have a German Shepherd Service Dog. He is well trained, clean, quiet, and stays by my side all of the time and I am allergic to cats.
If I am traveling:
If I am traveling alone, I may be using a shuttle from the airport, city bus, or I might have a compatible friend drive me so he would also need to have a bed/couch. I am also ok on a couch or airbed. I do use a portable powered wheelchair part of the time for long distance, due to military injuries, but I usually do walk with a cane.

It is a 3-bedroom 2 bath home in the far western suburbs of Phoenix. You would have access to the kitchen and laundry. A private fenced back yard, covered patio, sunning area with lounges, a shaded spa is kept at social temps year-round. Unless invited to share, you would provide your own meals.
I share my home with another disabled senior man, he has his own bedroom. I have a third roomy & we are in a committed relationship, age 57, he works days and is also a naturist. Depending on the situation I will give you our master bedroom and bath and we may sleep in the living room or spare room. There is WIFI for the house. The living room has a large screen TV with access to Roku; Netflix and Hulu.
The private backyard has a covered patio with soft seating, a sunning area with lounges. A hot-tub spa. Plenty of towels available. A Gas BBQ grill is also available.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy travel and I enjoy meeting new people and since I also travel a lot, this is a fair trade. I prefer to host single men but sometimes I will accept two people
I can provide a double bed and private bath. I also have a twin air-bed and a hide-a-bed couch in the living room.
My home also has a large hot-tub spa in the backyard and during warmer days my yard is safe for naturist
sunning and social chat (if you are interested).

I am a rare individual now: I have seen an atomic bomb mushroom cloud and been in the fallout cloud.
As a child, I was an 'airline brat' as my step-dad worked in the airlines, I met or knew many famous people and have lived in some unusual places, to include living on two Indian Reservations. So I had flown coast to coast over 12 times before I was 10yrs olc. I was also an apprentice jockey as a young man. And lived for 6 months in a hippie commune in 1966. A successful military career, traveled in many countries. I visited New York City in 1995 for a week, played tourist and was on the observation deck of the World Trade Center in 1995.
