ABOUT ME

I've been bouncing around Asia for the last few years. I'm a lover of museums and gardens. So anywhere I go... I like to seek out those spots and nerd out for a bit. I haven't been on this website in a long time, but I figured I'd give it a try again as I bounce around Japan. I'm just an American happily exploring the world, and I'm grateful for anyone willing to offer up a couch.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've had some good experiences with it in the past. Now i'm looking to save a few bucks and meet some cool people. Simple as that.

Interests

Looking for beautiful places to take in. I love savoring fine things like good views and tasty tea. A day in a hot spring is an ideal day for me.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well... I actually am a teacher haha. I've taught history at international schools for the past few years, but don't hold that against me! I promise not to ramble on about history...well... not for too long at least. To put it better, I just love good stories. That's all history is anyways, one narrative after another. So hey! If you got a story to share, I'm more than happy to listen and learn. It's what us historians do after all!
