Im Dane and my wife is Erika. I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. Iv made my way around the western hemisphere a bit. I lived in Florianopolis, Brazil for two years, Kenai, Alaska for one year, Oahu, Hawaii for 6 months, and I camped at Mt. Hood, Oregon spring 15' for a month snowboarding. I'm up for any adventure, and when things don't go exactly as planned..... well that just makes for a better campfire story.

Erika has grown up all over the U.S as she moved around with her dads work. But mainly Oklahoma, California, Florida, and Utah. She spent 6 months in St. Thomas working and traveled though Europe a few times. Her favorite place being Italy and Spain. She is a fantastic photographer (even though she won't admit it). And an amazing cook!

We have since been married in 2016 and want to resume our travels but this time around go TOGETHER!!!

We work during the week so we prefer that our house is empty while we are not at home. There are infinite things to do with 7 ski resorts, 4 lakes, downtown SLC, music venues, hiking and running trails, multiple state and national parks, museums, and more all with an hour drive.

We also tend to travel a ton due to the bounty of cool semi-local places that we haven't explored yet. Weekends can be hit or miss if we decide to leave on a whim. We can try to work things out, be flexible and address arrangements as we get to them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that the earth is vast and has unlimited opportunities to learn, connect, and bring understanding where there wasn't before. And traveling is EXPENSIVE so if we can help ease the burden, please be my guest.

I have hosted people from Belgium, Australia and more. All my hosting experiences were fantastic! I love meeting new people. I have not been a guest yet as we do a lot of camping but my wife and I hope to travel more this year and stay with a few kind souls.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most recently getting married!!! 4/22/16

I moved to Mt. Hood, Oregon in 2015. A group of 13 friends and I camped in the woods for the entire month of May to snowboard and hike. The snow was classic spring slush and fun as ever. A life changing month in the most dense forest iv ever seen with me naked eye. I can definitely see myself moving back there soon! I loved every second.

I considered myself to be a jack of all trades, master of none. I'll teach what can, and i'll learn all I can so that I can teach it to the next person.

Im always down to hike and explore some of my favorite trails and new ones too. I also love tô snowboard só let's get at it!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My wife and I can cook, and I'm more than happy to share any skills I have. We are willing to lend A helping hand with household chores and things. We are easygoing and have many stories and conversation to share.
