Like everyone else on couchsurfing, I like to travel and explore new places. Instead of travelling to places for short amounts of time, I prefer living in a place for an extended period of time before moving on. I've lived in Villarrica, Paraguay and Chiang Mai, Thailand. It was actually at a couchsurfing "Random Dinner" event in Chiang Mai that I met my husband. I was teaching and he was on his medical elective. While neither of us had couchsurfed before, we heard about the event and went and from that night on the rest is history. We are now living in New Zealand.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We decided to finally join couchsurfing as it's a fun and affordable way to experience a different side of a city. Instead of going and staying at a hotel, it is a more sociable way to learn more about life in different cities around the world. It gives a new perspective.
