About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel far and wide and meeting people from all walks of life
ABOUT ME
I like to have chats. About everything and anything. I grew up in a very liberal-minded family so anything goes. I'm open to new experiences and I'm very adventurous about trying different things, especially when it comes to food (raw octopus is surprisingly tasty as are chicken gizzards). I like to travel and meet new people, experience different cultures and find out just how big this big bad world is. I'm into music and movies in a big way with my favourites ranging far and wide. I'm very passionate about history and love discussing differing aspects and perspectives of it.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is too short to take too seriously so enjoy it - laugh a lot (like until your face starts to hurt)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So, I'm back in Korea now (got a bit homesick while I was living in the UK). Now that Bona Kim has deserted me for a life of travel in Europe, I host the Tuesday meet ups. So, come along and meet other travelers and expats over a couple of drinks.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I got into Couchsurfing while I was in Seoul and got to meet so many fantastic people through it, some of whom are now some of my closest friends. I Couchsurfed my way around Europe and got to meet some amazing people along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music and movie collection varies from one spectrum to the other. I like discovering new performers and trying them on for size. Since being in Korea, K-Pop has been dizzyingly addictive (B.A.P., G-Dragon are my favourites. My movie collection is also very random. I do enjoy awkward humour movies the most (Sightseers, Moonrise Kingdom, A Death at a Funeral).
I also really like to read. My Mum and Dad's garage is filled from top to bottom with all my books that they're storing for me while I travel. My favourite book would have to be Oscar Wilde's 'The Picture of Dorian Gray'. Lord Henry is a legend!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I've ever done has been harnessing my travel bug and putting it into practice. Stepping out into the world alone does all kinds of surprising things to your disposition.
