About Me
ABOUT ME
My name is Dane and i recently completed my studies in Engineering. I figure i have the rest of my life to work and am only going to be young once. After selling everything own that does not fit in my back pack and armed with duel citizenship i am heading to Europe indefinitely, with no real plan except to see where life takes me and experience as much as i can. I am incredibly easy going and relatively new to this although i have currently been on the road for about 10 months.
Currently i have bought a motobike and am hoping to ride fromt he UK to the south of Spain, through portugal and to the tip of Norway. Hopefully i can get hosted along the way and meet some interesting people
PHILOSOPHY
Ill try anything twice. The second time, just to make sure.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have only tried couch surfing once when i was in France. I had an incredible experience and am only dissapointed that i did not start doing it earlier into my travels. I still have a lot of time left and am determned to make the most of it
Interests
I live to ski. Having done a season in Canada when i was 19 and then America when i was 20, I just finished my first season in Europe. I lived in the French alpes in the resort of Tignes/Val D'Isere for just shy of 4 months and had the time of my life. I will be returning next year without fail and hopefully be dragging some of my friends back with me
Following music and concerts all over the world i have forged some of my strongest relationships and met the most interesting people in my life.
Additionally i love: wakeboarding, scuba diving, spear fishing, surfing, camping, hiking, motorbikes, drinking, dancing, partying, Poi (Fire Spinning/Dancing), meeting new people and trying new things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I started this trip off with Burning Man festival in America. Living in a community of 70,000 people in the middle of the desert for a week was probably one of the best things i have ever done.
Whilst living in the alps we summited Le Gran Motte 3650m for sunrise. Carrying over 20kgs worth of equiptment, we set off at 1am in the morning and battled frostbite and oxigen deprivation to watch the sun rise over the Alps. Its one of the most spectacular things i have ever done, though i probably will never do it again.
