ABOUT ME

Geeky comes to mind. Connoisseur of alcoholic beverages would also be an apt description of myself; particularly beers and martinis.
I am incessantly curious! I am a teacher by trade and student by nature. Love learning about other people's way of living life.
I have a strong need to travel- I have lived in Denmark, South Korea and China, a year at each location. Additionally, I traveled for a year in Asia.

PHILOSOPHY

I whole heartedly believe everyone has something to teach me.

As distances vanish and the people can flow freely from place to place, society will cross a psychological specific heat boundary and enter a new state. No longer a solid or liquid, we have become as a vapor and will expand to fill all available space. XD

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to tell stories! My past adventures, historical or natural factoids. Friends sometimes accuse me of being an encyclopedia. I have traveled across Europe, Asia and the USA. There are so many beautiful places here in the WEST! Let me know if you want any recommendations on where to go or do. I will go out of my way to get you the best advice possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was lucky enough to start out with a great host in NYC. I have also traveled with other CS and I am loving the type of travel hungry and diverse people that participate in the project.

Interests

My Favorite things to watch are documentaries and kids movies. I'm a through and through Naturalist and take all opportunities to learn about native flora and fauna. This includes local beer & wine tasting too as these require both flora and fauna to produce! Hiking is great or spending a day in the museum.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in Denmark for a year, then travel around Europe. I Taught in both South Korea and China for a year at each location. In between these two time I traveled for a year throughout Asia and Australia and New Zealand.
