ABOUT ME

I love talking to people, learning about how they see the world. I like both light and serious conversation,
and I joke around a lot. I value adventure and new experiences.

Other things about me in brief: I've been told I have a very calm and easygoing demeanor; charity is important to me; I love making people laugh and my humor can be very inappropriate; I enjoy reading. Oh and I'm not the best planner, but rather am much more into spontaneity.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had great experiences CouchSurfing a bit while traveling through Switzerland and France last year.

I love embarrassing myself and people I'm with in small ways, playing basketball (I'm terrible but I talk lots of trash), running, hiking, and I'm always up to try a sport I don't know as well.

I also play guitar, write for various personal endeavors, do volunteer work, travel, and have a constant stream of small projects---for example, trying to do standup comedy, writing a computer program to play poker or learning to play harmonica.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Hard to say, so I'll go with a more recent experience. Last year I volunteered rebuilding houses in New Orleans (after Hurricane Katrina in the US devastated the region), and it was quite amazing.
