I don't like to go on vacation for short periods of time. So when I travel, I tend to leave for several months.

I'm a biologist. It's more than a job to me, it's an opportunity to work in amazing environments with mostly interesting and laid back people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm a beginner couchsurfer. I've never hosted through the website before. But I've offered passerby and people I've met randomly to stay at my place when I used to live on the country side!

Interests

I love the outdoors! Hiking, cycling, snowshoeing, skiing and camping (summer and winter)!

I want to discover new things and learn about pretty much anything. I'm very curious about life in general. I really should learn more about the history of art.

I really miss reading. I haven't taken time to read a book in years (other than travel books and work related stuff). One that stuck with me is "A Short History of Nearly Everything" by Bill Bryson.

I have a glider pilot licence.
