I am an Instrumentation Engineer for NASA. My wife, Kelli is from Idaho. We moved to Tehachapi in 2008 after I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. We have 4 kids (Allison-8, Brianna-8, Talmage-6 and Spencer-4). We love to be outdoors, travel and do things together as a family. I love my family, Ultimate Frisbee, slot canyons, computer vision and Python. I am fluent in Spanish and Kelli is fluent in Russian and Spanish and is conversational in French.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My brother told me about this and it seemed like a good idea. I hope to get to know people and maybe I'll go couchsurfing with my wife some day.

Interests

I love working for NASA-in particular I love that I can talk about my work and our mission is to share knowledge with the human race.
I am passionate about autonomous vehicles and computer vision.
I also like music, computer science, religion and history.
My wife is also an avid traveler and we enjoy traveling as a family.
We have taken our kids to Mexico (2X) and Costa Rica. We would like to go to Spain someday.
My wife plays the harp for the Tehachapi Symphony and occasionally I sing in the chorus. She also has 4 harp students.
