ABOUT ME

I have traveled all my life - and love meeting people from new countries... I also love sports, in particular Football (soccer, calcio, fussball). If you want a buddy to crash a bar, go to a concert or maybe even an arts exhibition or more - let me know.

I am also trying out new things all the time. Currently might even try writing. But not sure where that is going ;-)

this country selecting thing at couch surfing is too slow for me, so I just make it brief: about 45 countries, lived in 7

PHILOSOPHY

I live life in two to three year projects: What I want to do today is not what I want to do all my life. I want life to be a collection of great experiences, a never ending stream of experiences.

I rarely ask for a couch, only if i have to. I just want to meet people and see where it takes me, and the people here are just really interesting.

Interests

A lot, but smart movies, famous movies. From Star Wars to Usual Suspects, from Indy Jones to the Godfather. Books, mostly classics

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Costa Rica: There is this volcano, Arenal, supposedly the most active vulcano in the world. So I was swimming at night in those hot springs, fed by the vulcano. The water is steaming of heat. Then it starts raining, bucketing. Water from below and above. Then a strong wind starts, the trees rattle. Wow. But then there are lightinings all around me, and also behind the vulcano. I get nervous - I am in the water, right - but its all so exciting. And then, the moment: The vulcano erupts and spits huge rocks of glowing lavae. And at the very same moment, a lightning sets the sky behind the vulcano alight. Here I was, sitting in this hot water and had all the elements around me. I will never forget this.
