About Me
Hey folks,
my name is Dani and I just finished university in Munich. I am a very open-minded person, and pretty much up for all the fun you can get from going partying to cooking a home-cooked meal with friends or having a comfy movie night at home. I moved to Munich in 2009 as it was always my dream to be living here and I haven´t regreted it ever since! You definitely should come here, the city is incredibly beautiful! Especially in summer there are many hotspots to hang out and enjoy a bottle "Augustiner" ("the" local beer brand here)... I like meeting new people, good conversations and gaining as much new experience as possible!
I love travelling and my plan is to have been visiting most of the world one day. My friends got me a scratch-off map for my birthday and so far I was only able to scratch off the countries named below but I´m always working on my next travel plans ;) my next destinations are going to be Morocco, Ireland, Island, Canada and the USA again!
Just according to the saying " I haven´t been everywhere, but it´s on my list"!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As saving money is not being my strongest characteristic, I try to make my travel plans as economic as possible. Moreover, and by the way far more important, I like to get to know the locals at a new place. You can combine meeting new interesting people with getting to know the best places and maybe also some insider-spots around the area. In my opinion travelling is about making the best memories and those are mostly connected with people along the way...
I would love to offer a couch for new friends in Munich, but so far I am living in a students´dorm and we don´t have much space around here, so this will only be possible as soon as I get my own apartment (which is quite a challenge here in Munich due to the high living costs...) Anyway if I am free, I´d love to meet up for a drink at a bar or a fun night out with easy-going people!
Interests
I am very much interested in Photography, Music and Travelling.
I love going to music festivals, especially if they host electronic dance music!
"If travelling was free, you´d never see me again" is a saying I could have invented, as I fully agree with this statement!
I´m also into hanging out just outside in the park, at the lake or river with a occasionally match of volleyball, some swimming or bicycling.
Music, Movies, and Books
As mentioned above I love Electronic Music and Deep House, but I´m also into Indie or alternative music, such as Mumford and Sons or Bombay Bicycle Club... I am pretty much always listening to music (besides work, where it is not allowed) as music can express every kind of mood you are in right now....
I also like movies, but I don´t have any specific preference of genre. Exceptionally I don´t like horror or psycho movies, as they creep the hell outta me! (I can only watch them in company, who then needs to be prepared that I will jump at them or grab their hand when I´m scared... :D)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I´ve done was my roadtrip through California in 2014. Waking up at a different place every day, driving thousands of miles through the desert by night and seeing the sun rise above the Sierra Nevada was just simply breathtaking!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you bavarian language ;)
