About Me

I've been happily married for more than 27 years and we, with my husband George, have 3 wonderful grown-up children (2 girls and a boy, who is now married too). I love my family, my profession (though it's really hard and demanding), my country (which is the most beautiful one I've ever seen), the nature (especially the mountains and the sea) and, of course, maybe I should have written it first - God.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We love travelling and we heard last year about this possibility - to host foreign tourists and be hosted when travel abroad. We think that meeting people who live in a foreign country gives us a deeper understanding of the culture and way of life in this place, also broadens our minds and gives us a chance to communicate more and to make friends.

Interests

I'm a sporty person and go jogging and mountain biking on a regular basis; I also enjoy skiing in winter and swimming in the sea in summer. I love travelling around Bulgaria and when I have a chance - abroad. I'm keen on reading books and dancing, especially with my husband, who is a great dancer. I'm also into environmental issues and try living and educating my students how to be Eco friendly.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have favourite pieces of music in almost every style - classical, pop, rock and traditional. According to movies - maybe those, based on true stories, also the adventure, fantasy and romantic ones. Books - they are a lot!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked for 3 summers as an English teacher for ATC Language and Travel in Dublin, Ireland, which was a remarkable achievement, a wonderful experience for me as a teacher, and an incredible opportunity to taste the Irish way of life.

Teach, Learn, Share

Now I'm working on several European school projects and thus - giving chance to my students to travel, to learn about other cultures, to communicate and make friends from different countries. I'm ready to share all that I know about writing and implementing international projects, my professional and personal skills.
