I'm currently teaching English in Madrid, Spain. I grew up in California but consider Madrid my "home away from home." I love traveling, meeting people from around the world and learning about new cultures. My one true love is food--I love to learn about it, cook it, and of course, eat it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hostels are a great way to meet people while traveling, but you never get the true "local" experience. I want to meet people from the cities I travel to who have the insider's perspective on where to go, what to eat, what to do but most importantly, I want to know how to live like a local. I really want to meet people from different places, who have a different outlook on life than I do and who love discussing what they're passionate about.

I'm a native english speaker so we can practice English if you'd like and I'd love to practice my Spanish. I'm also attempting to learn Italian.

As I said before, cooking is one of my biggest passions in life and I try to cook a new dish every week. I would love to share my recipes with you and help out in the kitchen and learn new recipes from your country.
