About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To show my 15 year old daughter what traveling as a global citizen, rather than a tourist, is like.
ABOUT ME
Before couchsurfing or the internet, I started traveling. When I was 16 and went to work on a kibbutz in Israel. For about 10 years I spent time moving about. I worked on a sailboat in the Virgin Islands, a cannery in Alaska, waitressed in London, lived in Paris. I often depended on "the kindness of strangers" in order to have a place to sleep at night. Back at home in the States I returned the favor, hosting friends and friends of friends whenever asked.
I am bringing my 15 year old daughter to France this summer for a month. We will be staying with a friend in Marseille, but I would like to be able to revisit Paris with her.
PHILOSOPHY
Enjoy the gift of life, be happy, make others happy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Caught a 196 lb halibut in Alaska--am now a vegetarian, camped out and watched the flames in the oil fields burn across the Red Sea, raising kids-two mine from birth, two mine from choice.
