ABOUT ME

Since 2007 I have lived/worked in five different countries on three different continents. Four working holiday years in Australia (2007-2009), New Zealand (2009/2010) and Canada (2012/2013), complemented by a three month trip in Western USA (2013). The fifth one is of course my homecountry Germany. Alltogether I cycled almost 50.000 KM (30,000 Miles) during my adventures overseas.

In 2014 I crossed the Alps by foot, hiking the so-called Traumpfad (Dreampath) from Munich/Germany to Venice/Italy (550 KM in one month).

At the moment I am working, saving money and making plans for new challenges. Ideas are a trip from Germany to Turkey (following the Danube River (Donau) from its source to the Black Sea (Schwarzes Meer) and further on to Istanbul); a trip from Germany to the North Cape (Nordkap) in Norway or even a tour exclusively through Germany (doing all 16 federal states and its capitals). Sometimes I think that it's about time to get to know my homecountry much better... :-)
