About Me
Born in England
Raised in Gran Canaria, Spain and then Alicante, (Spain)
Bilingual in English and Spanish (English mother/ Spanish father)
I´m a big fan of enjoying life. And I certainly live up to it by doing what I like the most, as much as I can.
Traveling:
I spent the whole of last year studying abroad and doing what I love the most, traveling. I was in Germany for 4 months . We had mini trips at the weekends to Prague, Norway, Denmark, Amsterdam and Sweden. And the I went to America for 5 months. Lived in Phoenix, Arizona. Yep, the dessert. Never thought you could spot that many cacti in one day. Was lucky enough to see Chicago, San Francisco, Mexico, Vegas, Washington, New York and Boston while I was there.
Amsterdam and San Francisco were my favorite places :)
I´m finishing my Degree in English Studies at the moment.
I teach English lessons at the same time. It´s a really rewarding and inspiring job. But it´s more like a part time hobby, don´t see myself as just teaching for the rest of my life. My plan is to do a Masters degree in Translation next year.
A few qualities I can relate to myself are...
Proactive, enthusiast, healthy, persistent, honest. tolerant, curious, hard-working, resilient.
"May the best of your past be the worst of your future" is my life motto.
But not all can be good right? I´m really open to talking about strengths and weaknesses. Knowing yourself is key to making yourself a better person day after day. I can impatient and perfectionist. I also tend to multitask. Nowadays people think multitasking is the bee´s knees. I don´t. Being a super- single tasker is much better.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I LOVE TRAVELING AND MEETING PEOPLE!
Traveling makes me feel that life is full of possibilities.
I enjoy meeting new people, with different backgrounds, thoughts, opinions, ways of interpreting the world. I love learning new things. I believe myself to be a person that can talk about anything. I´m very respect with other people´s opinions and eager to find those out.
Interests
If it were up to me a day would have 48 hours instead of 24 because there are always so many things I want to do, discover, read, watch, try, practice... I always keep lists with a tone of movies, books, series. Sports I´d like to practise more often, such as yoga and HITT.
Gym. I couldn´t afford not to go. Helps me relieve stress. Plus, I enjoy food too much not to go.
Cooking. Trying other countries cuisine. I don´t cook as often as I´d like to because cooking for just yourself is kinda lame.
Hiking and generally walking round up and down moutains, round parks, on the beach. Anything to do with nature.
