However, for me, the most important aspect of traveling is meeting new people. Nothing represents the soul of a country better than its locals. Only by interacting with them can you truly understand the culture and traditions of the country. You gain a unique perspective on the things around you and learn to appreciate them in a different way. This holds true whether you are being hosted or hosting someone else.
