About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To do it ALL! (with a little help from my friends, of course!)

ABOUT ME

Anyone who knows me knows that I am an outgoing, passionate, driven, responsible individual fascinated by life. They also know that I love to have fun, try news things, meet new people, and take the most of out any experience or opportunity that presents itself to me.

I am really excited to get into CouchSurfing. I think it offers people a whole new world to tap into filled with spontaneity, trust, and good intentions.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to see and smell and taste and feel as much as I can in as many places as I can while still keeping tight relationships with my network back home.

Life is quite precious, yet we spend so much time wasting it. Life is here for us to enjoy and learn and love and eat and grow - it just depends how much (or how little) you choose to give and take. I believe that people make their own realities based on their attitudes and perceptions... that's why I try to have a positive one. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I stayed in Ashland once with a friend who found us a place to stay through couchsurfing. We had a tremendously wonderful experience!

My hands-down favorite experience was in Cesi, Umbria, Italy with Claudia, Mateo and their baby daughter, Ava. They welcomed me with warm arms into their 16th century village home in the sleepy mountains below Tuscany - during the weekend of the annual local truffle festival. We we ate wild asparagus pasta, went to a lake, licked pistachio gelato, and drank homemade limoncello on a veranda overlooking olive fields as we tried to communicate in broken English and Italian about our lives. It was magical.

Interests

Hiking, yoga, seafood, fresh veggies, wine, theater, music, artistic expressions, jewelry, DIY crafts, traveling, reading, social media, current events, my lovely family and friends.

I am very interested in absorbing wonderful experiences and making the best of any day, no matter how cloudy or cold.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I do amazing things all the time, but one that stands out in particular is leaving the United States 7 years ago.

Teach, Learn, Share

You can never have too many friends.

Write things down more.

Love. Always.

Irritation is something you do to yourself.

Many hands make less work.

You're the only you you'll ever be.
I'm the only me I'll ever be.
