About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find joy in every aspect of my life and to bring joy to the lives of others

ABOUT ME

Hi there! I am a 24 year old university student originally from Atlanta, Georgia. I have been living and studying in Italy for the past 6 months and am now taking a couple weeks to travel around Europe and the UK before heading back home. In Italy, I was studying journalism and international relations and will continue to do so back in America or Canada or wherever it is that I wind up next. I am super easy going and cheerful and I love meeting new people. I am clean, low maintenance and always up for an adventure!

PHILOSOPHY

I am a highly optimistic individual and I would have to say that my life philosophy by nature is simply to do one's best, and make the best of what one has. I do, and I am happy 99% of the time. I take action in my life to better my situation when I am unhappy, but I am not unhappy when the unexpected happens. Everything is an experience, and the bad ones are often good laughs or lessons later :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently not able to host since I have been on and off the road traveling all over the world for the past several years, but I would be delighted to host and meet new people once I have a home of my own :) . I have had unofficial couchsurfers all my life since I love having my friends and people I meet while traveling come and stay with me. I know how hard it can be to travel on a budget in a place you don't know, so I would love to give back when I can!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have yet to couch surf myself, but I'm excited to start!

Interests

I love to watch documentaries, travel, drink wine, learn languages, watch Ted talks, listen to NPR, rock climb, go dancing, drink tons of coffee, sew, meet people and sing jazz music. Back home in Atlanta, I managed a music venue café and performed jazz oldies around town on a regular basis. I love languages and know a little bit of a lot of different ones including Japanese, Italian, French, and Spanish (but I'm only fluent in English :P) I love meeting people and discussing any and everything! I'm a dork. A fun-loving, happy, adventurous one and I hope to meet lots of amazing people!!
