Hey all! =)

I'm Dani, I live with my parnter, Josh, and our goofy dog called Callie (short for Calamity Jane...sort of). We live in a beautiful little town on the North Coast of California, surrounded by beaches and redwoods and rivers and awesome people.

I enjoy running, cooking, baking, hiking, yoga, and trying anything and everything new. I work a boring office job but my passion lies in environmental/outdoor education.

Josh enjoys making music, tinkering with technology, and learning new things. He works in IT but computers are far from his only interest. The man can hold his own in a conversation about almost anything.

We both enjoy good food, good drinks, and laughter with friends.

Oh, and Callie enjoys fetching balls and barking at cars.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been absent from the Couchsurfing community for the past few months while Josh and I moved, but we're ready to get back into it. We love meeting new people and hearing stories about their travels or places they've lived. I love cooking for people, so you're guaranteed a home-cooked meal when you stay with us.

I've also used Couchsurfing for my own little adventure a couple years ago, and, as a solo traveler, I loved it. I felt like I had friends wherever I went, and I never had to explore a city alone.

I just think it's a great community in general and I'm happy to be a part of it.

I'm the type to find even the smallest things amazing, so this is an impossible question to answer.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach
Hm...I really don't know. I've taught people how to knit. I could show you how to cook a mean pizza. I can (and probably will) share tidbits of information about the local ecosystem. My knowledge is up for grabs, really.

Learn
Anything and everything. I haven't done any traveling to speak of, so if you have stories to tell me, I'm an eager audience.
