Overview
About Me
Short young girl with a wide open mind!
I grew up in a maritime village, I now live in the big city of Montreal where I just finished university. I now work in a cute artisanal bakery. My mother tongue is french and I'm Acadian. I love people and enjoy social activities which fill my weekends and evenings.
Communication and balance are the key of a happy life.
I am lively person that loves to go towards others, learn and share stories.
I like to get involved in community based projects, specially around food issues.
I like to touch upon everything, I don't have one single passion.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Althought it's been a while I knew about couchsurfing, I'm fairly new in the community. I love the concept as an alternative way of the 'usual' travelling. As I said before, I feel great around people, so I figured it would be another amazing way to meet cool human beings! It's a good way to learn and share about different ways of life, skills, interests and much more.
Having done some Workaway, I know being hosted by people who live in the place you visit is the best way to see more and to be able to see different things.
And probably like many people, it's a budget-smart option. I'd rather spend my money on good food with my hosts than for a hostel!
Interests
Growing up in the country side with my house in the forest, environnement and nature are a part of me.
I love to be active, it makes me happy. Yoga and biking allows me to also quiet my mind.
My family and friends are really important to me, to my well being and to keep me grounded.
I thrive to always discover new things, to be able to know more about the world and myself.
I'm not an expert but I try to contiuously learn about the art of making good coffee.

Music, Movies, and Books
I can listen to pretty much any music, but I will never go wrong if I type in 'indie folk chill'.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been to a United World College, Lester B. Pearson College of the Pacific. If you know what is a UWC, you know how amazing it is.
I've spent two years doing the International Baccalaureate in an international college, where people from around the world and from various social backgrounds get scholarships to come together on Vancouver Island 'To make education a force to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future'.
