About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To have loads of fun!!!

ABOUT ME

Mmm... Me I was an au pair in Holland. Michael came there to work and live. We met through a friend and one thing led to another! BUT!! I had to go back home my time as au pair was over and Michael still had to stay. It was a very sad goodbye at the airport and I was back. We talked every day still and missed each other a lot!! So finally enough was enough and one month after arriving back in SA I was on a plane back to Him!Eventually the credit crisis came and we had to come back to SA but were still happy!!!

PHILOSOPHY

Everyday is special.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Many of my au pair friends used this site so I thought I would try it as well. I will always be a traveler so hopefully I will meet many new faces and places through this site and help some travelers along! I have stayed in hostels where we got flee bites! So I know how hard finding a nice place to stay is!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Music, Movies, and Books

Between me and Michael we listen to almost any music!! Michael is the big reader he loves Steven King! My favourite book is a book I bought at Schipol airport in Amsterdam actually by A.M. Homes 'this book will save your life' or as we call it the doughnut book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I drove in a Ferrari around the formula one track in Monaco! It was Awesome!!

I saw the Swiss Alps, its a fairytale scene!

I met the love of my life, the most amazing thing that ever happend in my whole life!

Teach, Learn, Share

Mmmm... When your traveling don't eat burger king and MacDonald's. Buy some bread cheese and cold meats from the super market its much cheaper and healthier and you can drink some wine or so, that what we did in Berlin.

If its carnival and your in Holland just go along with everybody to all the different bars and take the beers people give you! We bought ourselves one beer each that whole evening, but we got so drunk on all the drinks we got from everyone else!

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, France, Germany, Monaco, Mozambique, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In

Netherlands, South Africa
