I live in Toronto, Canada. I tend to be down-to-earth, laid back with purpose, balanced and friendly with a sense of humor. I love laughing and I make people laugh. More so, I’m open to learning more about other cultures and will always be respectful to others despite our different views. I'd like to think I'm emotionally and spiritually mature, and humble. I have a positive outlook on life which makes me comfortable with anything thrown in my path because everything will work out in the end.

I believe in giving because I have been so blessed to have received so much for the most part of my life.
I'm attracted to ideas of living this short-lived-Life in a meaningfull and fulfilling way outside the box!

✍ ✍✍ I have a story that has shaped my perspective in life forever. In short, life threw some curveballs and became all about trying and pivoting! I find the concept of CS to be quite intertwined with my personal story. By the way, Dan is for Daniel, and Obama is a nickname initially attributed to me by random strangers who said I resemble him hahaha, see it yourself.

There's a whole lot more to me but, it's best if you meet me in person so, you can ask me and find out for yourself :-) I never thought that traveling, while being in difficult life circumstances, could add this much value to my personal development. I became a global citizen and I feel this way since. It's beautiful!

(◕‿◕) WHAT HAPPENED in the PAST SHAPED Me

My multi-cultural heritage goes back to East of Africa, where I attended an Italian vocational school (where I learned 3 languages at the same time, English, Italian & Tigrinya) till later my life, my dreams, and my freedom were at stake, leaving me with no choice but to be courageous (fearing but doing it anyway). Intense stories of hope and resilience in the last decade, while at the same time blessed by amazing job opportunities, in the midst of trouble and uncertainty, thanks to beautiful souls who stood for humanity in times of need, in times of distress - amazing grace!

"Not always will someone be there to hold you, to tell you it's going to be ok, to give you strength when you feel none". I believe my faith in God helped me through the darkest moments of my life.

✌ CS is a lifestyle and this community is my home! ✌ I feel safe, I feel valued and I can make a friend out of every interaction with a"stranger"! I would love to create an environment where people can just be themselves without being judged on silly things, and where you can meet people, be open, grow a little✌

✌ Definitely, CS is the best way to meet outstanding personalities you will never forget! I use the CS website to network and meet amazing souls, more than just surfing a couch :) I cannot imagine living without CS, I just simply cannot enjoy a place without sharing the moment with people! I am so grateful for these beautiful souls out here spreading love, acceptance, and understanding to people from all nations, who often fall into the trap of hatred and bigotry, by governments disregarding any accountability and transparency due to their own selfishness of gaining total power and wealth. CS is a platform for trustworthy and reliable individuals who are the "salt of the earth". ✌

✌ CS community is my favorite community so far: met the coolest, genuine, culturally rich, educated, and experienced people who embrace differences of culture and make the best out of it:). You and I are one of these people. I owe this wonderful community, which gave me so much! ✌ I used to live in my own world, I mean something restricted by all those well-established so-called principles and rules from traditional society. But later realized how naive I was and longed to open my view.

• I love sight-seeing and discovering new locations I've never been to, in particular nature.

I think that the world we live in today, we just judge each other too much without getting to know the person first.
