About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I need to understand my true self by venturing out into the unknown...also I just want to have fun in a different city.

ABOUT ME

Danny Agama is a filmmaker originally from Chicago where he studied directing, cinematography, and experimental film production at Columbia College Chicago. The imagery in his work is known for its Eastern European and avant-garde influence. His films, often melancholic and fatalistic, examine the quiet suffering of humans by exploring themes of alienation and loneliness.

Danny works in a variety of mediums including narrative dramas, comedies, experimental film and documentary hybrids, video installations, and audio landscape pieces. His films have been screened at film festivals and events including the Auburn Independent Film Festival, Chicago Short Shorts, Stories That Move You at the Pritzker Auditorium in Harold Washington Library, and Curious Eye - an experimental film and art showcase at Manifest in downtown Chicago. He currently resides in Los Angeles where he continues to work as a freelance.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can clean and organise anything. Trying to pick up cooking at some point. I enjoy learning and exploring the outside world by taking long walks and checking out everything in-person. I have years of administrative and supervisory experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have met and partied with two couchsurfers here in Chicago. Their host was a friend of mine.
