Overview
About Me
I am 27 years old. I am 1/4 Armenian, 1/4 Chinese and 1/2 Mexican. Both my grandparents arrived to Mexico escaping civil wars in their home countries.
I grew up in the State of Mexico, very close to Mexico City, in a neighborhood called "Las Arboledas", which was designed by renowned Mexican architect "Luis Barragán". I didn't realize this until I was older, but this helped me develop an appreciation of beautiful city landscapes from a young age. Whenever you come to Mexico I can gladly give you an immersive tour of my hometown, its history and its living art.
I studied Finance and have been involved in the impact investing space in LatAm for almost 8 years. I currently work in a VC tech firm based in Seattle that invests in companies throughout the Global South (LatAm, MENA, India and Sout-East Asia) that contribute to the inclusive growth of the region. As an independent consultant, I secure investment for nature-based projects (landscape regeneration, sustainable food systems, ecotourism, etc.). I believe in the effectiveness of business as a means to distribute wealth and power to the people and the Earth.
I have lived in London, Toronto and Guatemala for work and study. I have visited over 20 countries, mostly in Central, South America and Europe. I have traveled around Mexico and have been to the most amazing places from beaches, to mountains, forests and even deserts.
I love nature and life. I am indulgent and empathic. I strive for love, freedom and justice.
I am very easy-going and I love to meet new people, perspectives and stories to build together the map of life!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel to meet new realities and make new connections. I am currently saving $ for my Master's degree, so being hosted by this community really helps working towards my dreams without having to sacrifice the activity I love the most: traveling.
I also love to go for runs and hikes everywhere I visit!
