About Me

One of my goals in life is to be a Professor. Not necessarily in a great University, but necessarily a great Professor. I love teaching. That is the reason I started doing all the possible academic degrees (currently doing PhD in Italy). Although I always had ease of transmitting knowledge, I thought I would learn much more during these degrees. I was wrong. The academic field does not teach you how to be a good Professor, actually they don't care much, as far as you are a good researcher. I also love to do research, but I was a bit frustrated with the previous situation. But, you're probably aware about that, as most of you had done some degree and had seen how hard it is to meet a good professor. Not only the ones who can teach well, but who can also impact your life in so many different ways, changing it positively. You know what I'm talking about. You're probably remembering that one professor right now! Yes, ONE, it's really rare to find more than one, IF you found, in the first place. Anyway, the point is, I'm studying a lot, by myself (as I said, degrees do not teach you these kind of things), not only to be that guy, but also to help other young Professors. Changing lives directly by doing that, and indirectly by doing research. That is my main goal.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel, but traveling for me is not about going to some touristic place to take a picture and move to the next spot, just to publish it on some social network to pretend that I know a lot of places. Yes, this way you would have visited, but not KNOWN the place. For me, interacting with the people who lives there (not necessarily born there), getting to know the culture, the (not only touristic) places they go, etc, is what means "traveling" for me. And it cannot be done in one day! Getting to know new people (hopefully the good ones) is usually the most meaningful part of my trips! That is easier to achieve with Couchsurfing, that's why I'm here! And we all have to agree on one thing... The best traveling stories always comes with people that you met during your trips!
