Hi I'm Dan and I'm 20 years old. I currently live in Newcastle, UK, but I'm aiming to travel to Norway or surrounding countries if possible. I have done a lot of research about Norway in particular and it looks like an amazing country!

I work in recruitment at the moment but plan to leave pretty soon. I want to ideally try and find a job in Norway, maybe in Sales or retail, and experience new things! Finding work in Norway isnt the most important thing, but would be a bonus! What is most important however, is the travelling and seeing new places! :)

I'm a really down to earth, I am a warm and kind person who people always get along with easily.

I have a really big family and love spending time with them and friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am currently not hosting, but I am very happy to help anyone who is visiting Newcastle! Even if its just showing you around some sites, or going to watch a football match or just for a drink! I like meeting new people and also want to travel more and learn more about the world. We only have one life so I want to experience as much as I can, while I can! I feel I am uneducated with most countries apart from my own and I am always looking to learn and develop myself!

Interests

I love sport, especially football. I love staying fit and active. I like long walks and enjoy camping. I love nature and sightseeing and also enjoy watching movies and exploring new places, meeting new people and learning new things!

I love beer and having a good time. However, I prefer a night in, with a few beers and a movie on with good company, rather than a wild crazy party..

I am very interested in quizzes and have been on TV in the past. I am very good when it comes to general knowledge so i could maybe help you, whether it be capital cities, history or sport!

I have lots of exciting and intresting stories I can share and also I love playing board games and cards, and I can even do magic tricks too!

I love listening and talking to people about their lives and what they have achieved, so I hope I can find someone who has the same philosophy!
