Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I met another traveller in Carcassonne who said that Couchsurfing was a great way for him to meet locals in France!

I am interested in discovering the ancient history around the Mediterranean, especially Roman art and archaeology.

Films - Star Wars, Studio Ghibli (my favorite is From Up on Poppy Hill), Everything Everywhere All at Once.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Staying at Taizé in France for 4 nights. It is a Christian community with lots of young people. I am not a Christian but I treated the unique prayer-times as a kind of meditation and found it very fulfilling. Everyone was so happy and kind! The chants that you sing in the church are beautiful and in all different languages. The whole place is very inclusive so I was able to meet lots of different nationalities.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to solve the rubix cube (with dedication), Roman history and Greek literature.

You can teach me French - I would love to continue learning! I can learn about your culture and your defining experiences.

We can share walks together. Also show me how to cook your favourite meals!
