Hi!

I'm Daniel, and I have been traveling Europe with my partner Christine. We have been together for the last 8 years and are engaged to be married...at some point. We are a fun team that loves to talk, explore, relax, eat and dance.

Together, we spent our college years travelling and making friends all over the US. We've seen more concerts than we can count, and have enough great stories to last a lifetime. Since then, we've worked really hard at each of our jobs, learning, growing and building a foundation for our future.

This past summer I proposed to Christine and she accepted!

Before we officially "settle down," we felt it was really important for us to see more of the world first. So we packed up our belongings, moved out, put our jobs back home on hold, and hit the road.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I believe the best way to learn about a new place is to get to experience it from a local's perspective.

So far on our trip, most of our accommodations have included hostels and Workaway stays, and while hostels can be a great way to meet many different people, they often lack the authenticity of staying with a local. We are really excited to give couch surfing a try and make some deeper connections with the people that our many destinations home.

Interests

We do what we can from getting the most of the life we have. Whether that is good music, good food or drinks, or a great conversation with good friends, we can get so much out of these little adventures of their own.

We would love to talk about each others travel stories, hard times, good times, what makes their life unique. I have found that throughout the world, so many of us have the same goals, dreams, outlook, but it's the little differences of what makes us happy that I want to explore much more.

I am fascinated by different cultures than my own. It's why we are traveling the world. We want to put ourselves in the middle of a new place and truly embrace the learning and growth that comes from spending time with people from all parts of the world.
