About Me

I teach English, work for an education charity, volunteer on an organic farm and write creatively. After travelling to almost fifty countries I am settled back in Britain and own my home, which means I have all the time and money to pursue lots of interests.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a seasoned traveller who's now lucky to live in a city as lively and varied as London. I have met so many intriguing characters across the planet, each of who have shown me another side of their country and it's now my turn to reveal the glorious and hidden treasures of my neck of the woods. If you are in to literature and the arts then I can show you the historical sites. Fancy a bash at the traditional British pub quiz? Like to take a stroll (or rollerblade!) around our royal parks or a country walk? Want to explore some of London's more obscure attractions? Well I'm your man. I'm easy going, spontaneous and imaginative. And it'd would be my pleasure to show you round.

Interests

I fully exploit living in the world's most eclectic and elaborate city, one where new music events and cultural exhibitions abound. Plus there's an art to loafing in London-unplanned rambles always turn up gems.

Saved an entire raft of penguins from an angry sealion.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can polish up your English and literary knowledge no end. If you want an insight into organic farming and perma-culture, then I am based by London's biggest community farm. And there's a decent chance of winning the pub quiz and free drinks to boot!
