I'm Dan. I’m a clueless optimist in search of new experiences. I seek novelty and love spontaneity. My favorite way to travel is to get a round trip ticket somewhere, and then just wing it.

I’m from the small Eastern European oasis of Sheepshead Bay in Brooklyn, NY.

I'm a diplomat and an avid traveler. I’ve lived, worked, or studied in Spain, Senegal, Morocco, Jordan, Denmark, Taiwan, Belgium, and Bangladesh. I currently live and work in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

My three primary hobbies are walking, talking, and eating. I’ll enjoy pretty much any variation of any of those things. Love debating interesting ideas, learning new languages, hiking through valleys, trekking up mountains, and tasting just about anything that won’t kill me. I also love getting to know queer communities wherever I travel.

I'm also always excited to learn something new, so I am more than happy to sit and listen to a thirty minute rant on waste management systems in sub-Saharan Africa, if that's your thing.
