About Me

I am a person who loves meeting up with people from other places of the world and exchange experiences, laughs, food, drinks, stories, questions, etc.
I have two brothers and one dog. I am currently in Denmark, after being in Chile for 10 months after traveling South East Asia for six months after a year of living/traveling Australia.
In simple words I'm a person who looooves talking to other people and just loooove hanging out with other people from different countries and backgrounds. I just find it very interesting and fulfilling in many ways. Meeting people from around the woorld has been one of the best things that I have experienced.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always liked the concept, I initially hosted people from Canada, who came down from santiago sent from another host friend of mine. It wasn't an official CS stay but it was great having them.

I did some surfing in Australia and Indonesia, and now I have seen how wonderful it is to be in CS. When I was home I tried to host as many people as I can and show them around or just give them a hand along the way. My first week in denmark was thanks to couchsurfing too! love the idea, simply amazing! =)

Interests

Music. Listening to it and playing it. From jaming with a guitar, a simple drum or singing (trying) some classics!
Sports, running, cycling, football, anything really. Show me a big rock and I'll try to climb it!
Traveling. I have only been in Australia and South East Asia so far, adding more places to the list at the moment, actually I'm in Denmark at the moment and soon I'll try and get to know more of Europe ☺
I love English and languages in general, it is just fascinating! Trying some Italian lately, though it's been a while since I last practiced 😃

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Rock, Metal, Fusion, some latin stuff and folk too, why not.

Movies: Wow, I don't know. Some of my favorites are The Prestige, Memento, Inception, The Blind Side, Interstellar, and some other documentaries like Departures (series), Baraka, Samsara, Map for Saturday, and sooooo on.

Books: I've read a little and I've liked Murder By Family, El Plan Infinito, the alchemist, the pilgrimage, the sojourn, among others =)
It's kind of difficult to keep up with books since I'm always looking for music, or I'm reading something else like music or movie articles 😉

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Biking my way down to Chiloé Island and back in 5 days. I also biked my way around Lake Llanquihue with friends in 5 days too.

I jumped off a plane and landed on the sand at Rainbow Beach in Australia. Scariest/best experience ever!
Scuba diving and snorkeling the great barrier reef has been one of the most beautiful encounters with nature I have experienced. Very similar feeling while snorkeling around Gili Air Island in Indonesia 😃

Teaching English as a volunteer in a small school in Chiang Saen in north Thailand for two months. Incredibly amazing! 😃

Survived 6 days of dengue fever 😆

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can teach you English or Spanish if you are interested. I could also teach you about my country of course, and even a little bit of cooking because I just love it! I also play the drums, so if you are into that, we could share a little about that too.

Learn: Pretty much anything about your country, your town, your food, what you like, what you don't like, etc. Culture, countries, curiosities, music, and movies will always be something to learn from.

Share: My little adventures (If at all interested hahaha), my life experiences, and I guess anything related to my culture that you are interested in. Please, feel free to ask me anything if you feel like it. A good (or bad) question is always the best way to start an amazing culture-exchanging conversation, so be my guest! (While drinking some wine or a few beers, some good music, what else do you need?)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer a home, that's for sure.
A bed, room for a mattres.
I love sharing about my country, about my city and above all about friendship. I can cook, teach how to cook I guess hahaha.

As I said we can share so many things that it'd be just silly to start a list. It all depends on what you'd like to know! ☺ We can pretty much be other members of your family for a little while! 😉
