Overview
About Me
I travelled and lived all around Asia for about 3 years. I tend to stay at a place for at least a month so that I can experience the culture, life, and especially the food of whichever country I am living in. So as a traveler I really hope to meet people that also love food and can maybe even show me how to make a special dish from their country.
I always enjoyed road trips as a kid with the family. I have only been to 11 states in America but I have tremendous plans to explore everywhere I possibly can. I am trying to become more of a minimalist which helps fund my desires to travel and most of my free time is researching a destination for my future.
I have been studying cultures and humans for a while now so I like to experience my destination like the locals would. I am big on budget travel and I have gained some useful knowledge that I hope to share with everybody. Maybe you have some useful information you can share with me about traveling on a budget, great locations, or food.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have yet to actually stay with someone on Couchsurfing but I have met some cool people. I also don't really need any places to stay most of the time since I just book an Airbnb for the month. It seems Couchsurfing is a great site to find other people that share a passion for traveling. For me, I am really looking for people interested in food culture but that isn't necessary. I hope to find locals to meet and explore their home town with, or go on a trip with them. I am also open to other foreigners looking for others to explore with.
I am not here to be a bum. I would rather not have to rely on someone else to plan a trip but if someone seems great and would like me to stay with them then I will. I would enjoy any tips, advice, or tricks to traveling in your area.
Interests
Other than traveling I enjoy camping, hiking, and lounging on the beach. Finding a board game cafe is always fun. I really do enjoy teaching and learning languages as well. Did I mention that I love food and love to cook.

Music, Movies, and Books
The Black Keys is my favorite band. I listen to all kinds of music though and love to go see live music. Some random local band can make my day or night much better.
I love all kinds of movies and some of my favorites are: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Anchorman, Monsters Inc, Marvel movies, Zombieland, and so much more. I really like all kinds of movies and love to go to the cinema.
When I think of books, I just think of Vagabonding. If you haven't read it let me know ;)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Many people would say that my general lifestyle of constantly moving around is pretty amazing but for me it is just my happiness.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach English of course. I can also teach some simple but cool recipes to cook.
I love to learn. I want to learn how to cook dishes as I travel, maybe a little bit of the local language, and where I should travel to.
We can just share a good trip or night out. Share some travel stories and budget travel tips.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to cook so I may cook something for us. I can help you improve English if you need it. I can also share stories. I am a pretty funny person so maybe I will probably make you laugh also
