About Me
Hello! I'm Daniel, 34 years old, and I'm a professional in Bacteriology and Clinical Laboratory with a Master's degree in Microbiology. I work in a hospital and also teach university courses related to microbiology. I'm passionate about science, but I also love discovering new cultures, meeting people, and exploring new places. I'm a curious, open-minded person always eager to learn from others. I enjoy sharing experiences and having interesting conversations about science, travel, or anything that comes up. I'm also a big believer in respect and kindness, and I always try to create a comfortable and pleasant environment for those around me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I want to connect with people from all over the world, share stories, and learn from the experiences of those from different cultures. Traveling allows me to open my mind, and through this platform, I'd love to make friends, experience new cities in a more authentic way, and, of course, offer a place where others can feel at home. I believe that cultural exchange and mutual hospitality are enriching experiences, and Couchsurfing is a great way to do that.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love the Mistborn saga and The Lord of the Rings. My favorite movie series is Alien, and I'm a huge fan of horror movies in general. I also enjoy classic films from the 80s and 90s. As for video games, I’m a big enthusiast, and my favorite game is Final Fantasy IX—I love its story, characters, and overall atmosphere. These genres and stories really inspire me, and I enjoy diving into these worlds whenever I can.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm not someone who has had many wild adventures, but I believe my greatest achievements have been academic and professional. However, recently I ventured out of my comfort zone and learned how to scuba dive. It was an incredible experience, and it made me realize how much I want to explore more of the world. Through this app, I'm hoping to create new adventures, meet interesting people, and keep adding to this list of amazing experiences.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a native Spanish speaker, and I would love to teach the language to anyone interested. I’m also a teacher in the field of health sciences, specializing in infectious diseases and microbiology. I enjoy sharing knowledge and learning from others, especially when it comes to science, culture, and languages. I believe that teaching and exchanging ideas is one of the best ways to grow and connect with people from around the world.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my knowledge of the Spanish language and my country’s culture, whether through casual conversations or teaching some basic phrases. I also work in health sciences, specializing in microbiology and infectious diseases, so I can share some interesting facts or discussions about these fields. I love to have thoughtful conversations and exchange experiences, whether about science, travel, or life in general. If you're interested in learning about the local culture or need tips on places to visit, I’d be happy to show you around or recommend things to do. I believe that Couchsurfing is about sharing not just a place to stay, but also stories and experiences that help us grow and connect.
