Catch 22 is a classic, and recently I read James Fray's "A Million Little Pieces" and "My Friend Leonard" which are incredible.

In 2015 I spent 12 weeks volunteering in a rural village in Nicaragua with a population of 120 people.

We were an hour and a half hike from the nearest road and another 4 hours drive from the nearest city.
