Overview
About Me
Well I'm just a regular guy from the South Pacific.
I was born in Fiji to a Chinese/Fijian mother and Indian father, raised in New Zealand and lived my last 12 years in Australia, therefore I am from the South Pacific.
I started backpacking in August 2013, with the intention of doing the whole of Latin America within a year and a half. I arrived in Rio for Carnaval 2014 and decided to live there for about a yeae and a half. After Rio I continued to travel around South America up until the end of 2016.
I went back to Australia to work for a year and now im on the road again until August 2019. Mainly traveling around Mexico and Central America with a few added stops to Europe and Colombia.
I love everything about traveling, from the different cultures and food to the risk taking of walking the streets at night of a "dangerous" city
My main passion in life second to my family is to travel and learn about different cultures, food, customs and architectures.
I get entranced learning about indigenous cultures and customs.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I originally got onto Couchsurfing to host guests while I was living in a favela in Rio. It was to show outsiders how the majority of people in Brasil live and also to take away the stigma of what people assume a favela to be like.
I think Couchsurfing is a great tool to help connect people with "locals" who can show you more than just the norm of the "tourist trail".
Couch surfing is a great medium to connect with people from different walks of life and get to understand people from all over the world.
I've couchsurfed in Venezuela and Mexico and hoping to do so more in my current travels.

Pretty much dont mind anything, you gotta be open to new experiences right?? .. favorite type of music definitely rnb and hiphop ... And Latino music from bachata to salsa to norteño to banda and everything in between.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travel around Latin America for 4 years. It was so good and I felt so connected to the place and people that I'm back at it again.
Also visiting the beautiful sights that Venezuela has to offer including the amazing Mount Rorima and Angel Falls.
Teach, Learn, Share
An open to learning anything and everything .. especially if it's to do with Latin America
I believe that everyone has something to teach us whether is be good or bad. We are in a constant state of learning and growing.
