Overview
About Me
I'm originally from Chicago, currently traveling the world. I lived in the Amazonian jungles of Peru for nine months in 2015, around Melbourne, Australia for six months in 2016, Guatemala for two months in 2018, and Medellin, Colombia for two months in 2018. I'm an entrepreneur investing in cryptocurrencies traveling with the money I've made from my investments, looking for new opportunities both in investment and travel. I also love to practice Reiki (I'm a Reiki master), yoga, Transcendental Meditation, and skateboard in my free time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm back in the United States to prepare for the next exciting chapter of my life and story. I'm looking for opportunities to share stories and experiences with great, like-minded people on a similar path. Couchsurfing seems like the best way to meet new people and share stories with each other, and I love both listening and telling stories.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite Music: hip-hop (early 90s is the best - A Tribe Called Quest, NaS, De La Soul, etc.), jazz (especially Coltrane)
Favorite Movies: Star Wars is always great, Terrence Malick, Kubrick, Scorsese... I was a hardcore cinephile at one point in my life.
Favorite Books: Anything by Don Delillo, "Underworld" is one of my favorite books of all time. I've been super interested as of late with life-hacking, so I've been getting into books by Tim Ferriss, and I really love reading the biographies of Walter Isaacson. Currently reading the biography of Leonardo da Vinci.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I just completed in 2018 a 30-day darkness meditation retreat where I was isolated with no sound or light alone in a darkroom for 30 days in Guatemala. It was a real test of my character and extremely revelatory for myself.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm really obsessed now with learning new languages, but Spanish is turning out to be a pain in my butt. After traveling, I've witnessed firsthand how much it opens up my world.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I've got amazing stories to share about my travels. I'm never short of stories!
