Overview
About Me
I was born in Guam and raised in beautiful San Diego, California. I'm a Californian through and through! The vocabulary, the mannerisms, you name it! Haha
I have a younger brother and loads of cousins back home. I'm super fortunate to have a large family to return to after my travels.
I have a Bachelors of Science Degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Fitness, Nutrition & Health from San Diego State University. I worked for several years at a spinal rehab clinic as a Rehab Specialist before deciding to go back to school to earn my Respiratory Therapist license (which I currently hold). I loved the health/medical field but decided to fulfill my dream of living in another country. So why not Australia!? Haha
I think I'm very friendly, upbeat, positive & outgoing but at the same time can be quiet and a bit introverted (if that makes sense) haha. Overall, I think you'll find me to be easy to get along with and an awesome guy!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing for the unique opportunity to meet locals and experience their city/neighborhood through their perspective and to hear and share stories with them!
I love learning about a new culture and what better way to do so by being a guest at their home!
Eventually, I would love to pay it forward by hosting surfers in the future!
Interests
My interest include: breakfast, coffee, trying out new restaurants, being outdoors, exploring new cities/neighborhoods, adventuring of any form, live music (festivals), sporting events, meeting and making new friends!
I also enjoy the gym, working out and health/fitness lifestyle but don't get me wrong I love my fair share of craft beers and going out! I am the type of person that is always up for anything fun and anything new!

Music, Movies, and Books
The three books I currently have are: "Owning Your Own Shadow" by Robert A. Johnson, "Travel the World on $50 A Day" by Matt Kepnes and The Untethered Soul" by Michael A. Singer.
I really appreciate music and have all kinds of artists saved on my Spotify and SoundCloud playlist. I would love to share my favorites with you!
In terms of movies, I cant say that I have a favorite per se. But comedies are always fun and entertaining. I also like movies that stimulate the brain a little bit!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My trip to Thailand as a whole was absolutely amazing but visiting an elephant sanctuary was the highlight of the trip for me. It was an unbelievable experience getting to feed, bathe and play with the elephants!
Having said that, I'm sure once my WHV expires I will say moving to Australia will be the most amazing thing I've done!
