About Me

I am currently in the midst of a extensive cross country journey with my girlfriend. We are living out of the back of a jeep and are trying to get a feel of the nation. I recently graduated college with a degree in education and am taking a little time off before I find myself a more permanent career in my field. Apart from traveling I am very fond of reading, hiking, outdoor puttering about of various sorts, and music, both the listening and the production of.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find that I can connect more with areas when I have some sort of personal connection with the region . I like the sharing of ideas and getting the local perspective on places. That, and I am tired of having the sleep in truck stops every night (Or in national forests if I can find them, that's more pleasant). If you have a driveway I could park my jeep/home in that would be wonderful, if you had a shower that would be stupendous. I don't have an adjective powerful enough to describe the degree of my elation if you would have a couch/comfortable floor that we could sleep on.

Teach, Learn, Share

Yes? (This question is very ambiguous, not sure if this is what they were looking for) Anyway, I am limited on resources that I can share but I can help with household projects or other sorts of labor that needs to be done.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my ability to work on projects and can share my capacity for preforming manual labor. Also, my charming personality. And Rice.
