Overview
About Me
Hi! My name is Daniel from Los Angeles, California, United States. I am 22 years old. I just recently graduated from university where I majored in sociology. I backpacked all across the Middle East and Europe during the summer of 2015 with my best friend Grant. We traveled to Israel, Palestine, Istanbul, Zagreb, Split, Rome, Florence, Bologna, Munich, Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris, Toulouse, and Barcelona. I loved seeing all of the sites and learning about the rich history and unique cultures that each city has to offer; as well as meeting amazing people!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing will provide me the opportunity to interact with the locals and to completely immerse myself into the culture in which they inhabit. I am looking forward to meeting interesting, friendly people and hearing their stories and life perspectives. I'd much prefer to stay with people who live in the city and can give us a non-tourist perspective of the town that they call home. Couchsurfing will also help me to save money, since I am trying to travel on a budget.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've played in many bands. I've hiked and camped and traveled all over the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
I travel to learn about myself and my place in the world. I hope to meet people who will guide me towards gaining a more global and worldly perspective. I look forward to being enlightened by conversational bonding with my hosts. I hope to learn about your daily lives and practices and to make friends in far away places.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to be able to share my knowledge, my life story so far, my future plans and goals, and good company to anyone that is generous enough to host me. I am very helpful, organized, clean, friendly, polite, timely, and responsible. I can help cook, clean, run errands, etc. I'm good with kids. I'm a musician, so if you have a guitar, bass, piano, drum kit, or mandolin, I'd be happy to jam with you!
